    1. Dear Sir,

Thank you for visiting the blog and raising the question.

Settibalija is a name of tapping community from East Godawari district in Costal Andhra Pradesh. As per the information I have
with me- Bhandari a name of tapping community living in Maharashtra/Goa. This tapping community identified with different
names in different parts of India i.e. settibalija, goud, srisayna, yatha, ediga in Andhra Predesh, Billawas in Karnataka, Ezahawas in kerala, Nadars in Tamilnadu, Gomanthak Bhandaries in Goa, Gujarathi Bhandaries in Gujarat, kallar, kalal, kalwar (kalchuri) in Chhatisgad, Jharkand, UP.,MP.Rajasthan, W.B., Bihar and so on.
Hence names are different but community is one.

In this regard I wish to share some information as under-
To unite and bring all these groups under one identity our leaders are trying hard under the leadership of Shri Navinchandra Bandivdekar -National President, Akhil Bhartiya Bhandari Samaj Mahasangh (abbsmahasangh10@rediffmail.com), Mumbai.

I hope you got the answer. Tks
