Hi All,

It was a great time spending with our family members for a whole day, where I have been feeling alone, in Mumbai. Hope you are aware of BASS (Bombay Andhra Settibalija Samajam) which is formed and registered  in 1985. They have been organising get togethers every year on Jan 26th and this is the 28th time they are meeting. All our family members have travelled more than 2 hours  (in Mumbai itself0 to reach that place. Infact, I had to travel 3 hours to reach that location. Almost 400 people attended the meet. Competetions were held for kids ( Drawing, Singing and Dancing) and Rangoli for women.  National Leader Navin Bhandari was the chief guest. He expressed a great feel of happiness to be with us.  The most attractive part was the flag hoisting by kids. Its a great idea by BASS team.

Jaylaxmi goud, Kadali Raghuram and myself, from GESSY has attended that meeting.

It was such a great meeting that noboday wants to miss it. Hope you communicate about this to any of our family members who are already in Mumbai and not aware of this. In future, if anybody is moving to Mumbai, please be in touch with our BASS committe members.

Congratulations to Gubbala Satya Prasad uncle and the other BASS committe members for their untiring commitment to unite our community people in Mumbai.

They have been in the driving seat of this noble cause for the last 28+ years and wish, god give them strength and support to carry this in future too. Hope the young generation UNDERSTAND their intentions and carry forward this mission.When everybody say that the future of any country is in the hands of the young, I say, the furture of our community is in the hands of people like us. So I request our fellow group members, its high time to be more active for such activities. Lets help each other, discuss any open issues and work for the development of ourseleves and therby the community.
